The most famous places to visit for tourists going on a tour of Tver and the Tver region are the sights on the banks of the Volga River, in particular one of the main symbols of the capital of the Upper Volga region - the Starovolzhsky Bridge. Experts say that the bridge is an original structure in bridge construction with a unique solution to engineering and artistic and aesthetic problems. The residents of the city are very touching about this building, not only because it is the oldest city bridge, but also because it is a kind of symbol of the city.

In order to emphasize the status of the bridge in the evening and add vivid impressions to evening walks along the embankment, we have developed a project for color-dynamic architectural and artistic lighting of the bridge. In our project, we tried to emphasize the unique cantilever-beam system, where each element of the console is part of a lighting scenario, with the ability to control light and color. The graceful outlines of the upper part of the cantilever truss are emphasized by smoothly running light lines, while the light source itself is hidden, no matter what may create visual discomfort during observation. The illumination of the spires located on 4 supporting beams completes the overall lighting composition of the bridge.

The concept offers three lighting modes for the bridge: casual, night and festive, which will give the bridge a unique language of communication with the viewer. Thus, the bridge will not only acquire an updated and attractive appearance at night, but will also come to life in front of the audience, attracting more and more tourists. This can be seen most vividly at the moment of the "Show". When the bridge will be able to perform its song to the audience. And he will pay homage to the Volga, thanks to which his birth became possible.

As night falls, the light becomes more friendly to small spiders. Have a good hunt!

Vandal-proof covers have been developed for the lamps located in the lower part of the bridge, in the pedestrian area, which will protect the lamp from humans.
