The Red Dragon is a bridge over the Irtysh River in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk.

Due to its unusual architectural design and the red color of the metal structures, the bridge resembles a fairy-tale creature with a powerful arched back, which has given it the popular nickname "Red Dragon."

The riverbed portion of the bridge is a unique steel continuous span construction of a combined "arch-truss-beam" system, unmatched in Russia, reminiscent of a dragon's scales. This bridge is one of the most beautiful in the country.

In the work on the project, it was important to reflect the name and spirit of the structure, making it visually appealing and safe in the evening light environment. The bridge's lighting should convey the culture and identity of the region.

By installing floodlights inside each lattice arch and illuminating its inner sides, we aimed to carefully refine the entire lace-like structure, creating a shimmering effect, like "scales" of a dragon in the light.

Along the upper edge of the metal structure runs a continuous line dynamic LED lights, which clearly outlines the contours of the bridge and sets the rhythm and movement of the entire construction, imitating the flames of a dragon.

All lamps installed on the bridge have Dynamic White color diodes with the ability to adjust the color temperature of white light from 2200K to 6000K. Using this model allowed us to choose the best possible color shades and achieve an overall visual balance, taking into account the texture and color of the illuminated bridge surfaces.
