In working on the concept, the main emphasis was placed on the history of the bridge's origin, which originates in St. Petersburg. It was there that one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe was built from 1843-50. In 1930, the bridge was reconstructed, and the supporting arched structures were transferred to Tver. As we know, one of the features of evening St. Petersburg is its warm soft lighting, which forms the evening appearance of the city, and this is the kind of light we wanted to display in our project.

Considering the historical and architectural value of the structure, the approach to light was delicate; it was important to emphasize the interesting metal interweaving of the arched structure, taking into account the texture of the cast iron that had faded over time. The play of light between the overlaps involuntarily draws the attention of city residents to the uniqueness of the structure that their hometown inherited.

For entertainment, we installed red, blue and green spotlights in the pedestrian tunnel. The optical illusion of colored shadows that we get on the surface of the paving stones will create a lively interest in the place. Moreover, the effect itself can be turned on independently by pressing the start button.
